Health Services at San Simon Elementary School

At San Simon Elementary School, student health and safety are our top priorities. We believe that students thrive academically in a secure and supportive learning environment. By implementing rigorous safety procedures and policies, we ensure our students are protected and can focus on their educational and personal growth. We monitor the well-being of each student and provide swift and clear communication to parents/guardians.  

Teachers and staff are well prepared to take the appropriate actions for students who become ill during class. Our timely response and effective care foster the student’s speedy recovery. Parents/guardians are notified immediately regarding their child’s condition so arrangements can be made for pickup. We also work closely with local emergency services to ensure a swift and coordinated response to any medical crisis. 

A medication form must be completed before any medication(s) can be administered to a student. Arrangements must be made with San Simon Elementary School staff. We maintain open lines of communication with parents/guardians, which eliminates confusion, prevents delay and creates a healthy learning environment for all students.    

San Simon Elementary School also has a full-time counselor to help students with stress, anxiety, trauma and other personal issues. We support your child's overall well-being, which includes a healthy physical, mental, emotional and social life.
