Principal Back to School Message

Hello! 

Welcome to San Simon School for another challenging and rewarding academic year. We’re excited about what’s to come and having the community together at our facilities.

Our academic and educational efforts ensure our students learn and retain the necessary skills to succeed. Most of all, we want our young people to become those who can help the world. To achieve those goals, we offer a culturally relevant, high-quality education. Our curriculum is designed to help students succeed at their assessments throughout the year and meet state educational standards and those of the BIE.

Parents/guardians, please participate in school programs and student offerings. See the school, take a tour, and get to know your child’s classroom. Don’t hesitate to talk to the staff. We want our school’s community to flourish.

Students, I encourage you to keep an open mind this year. Come to school with questions and ask them. We want to feed your curiosity. You will learn to utilize your agency and take responsibility for your learning. Above all else, be kind and work hard every day.

Our staff has spent the summer attending professional development sessions. They are eager to use what they’ve learned in the classroom and to attend staff orientation.

The 2024-25 school year will be full of growth and community.
